SNAKE RIVER WOMEN'S CLUB

A new women's social group is forming in the local area.  The Snake River Women's Club is an organization for women to meet other women for friendship and fun.  This local group was formed in October 2011 by local resident Jan Cook.  She had been actively involved with several Boise social clubs that had formed as off-shoots from the meet-up.com website.  She thought that Mountain Home had limited opportunities for women to meet and socialize. So she decided to form a chapter for this area.  In order to join the Snake River Women's Club, go to the meetup.com website and enter the Mtn Home zipcode and go from there.

"We want this club to be a way for women to meet, form friendships, plan fun outings, and just generally socialize.  Our activities could be anything that interests people -  from seeing movies or plays together, trying out a new restaurant, wine-tasting and tours of area vineyards, museum tours ,  card games and on and on.  Our activities are  limited only by our member's imaginations. So please join us and help make this club a success", Ms. Cook said

We have scheduled our first meetings to be held at the WECRD large meeting rooms.  Our first meeting will be October 22 from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm.
